When I travel to a destination, especially the first time, I like to see a broad overview of the country so that when I return, I can go directly to the places that really impressed me. So many people visit Portugal every year, to winter in the Algarve, or to do a luxury river cruise on the Douro. Those of you who know me, know just how much I love to river cruise in Europe.. but I really wanted to see more than the Douro River Valley in the north, and more than a beach holiday south on the Algarve.. I also want to experience the life & culture of Portugal in many areas off the beaten track. Globus' Portugal In Depth just seems to fit.

Group air is available from Montreal - Lisbon direct on Air Canada, private transfers in Lisbon and a shuttle from South Dundas - Montreal airport will be available.
